We are aware that a number of Chicken and Gravy pies have been wrongly labelled as Potato, Cheese and Leek pies. The pies have a use buy date of 07 March and a batch code of 9055.

As a responsible food producer, we recognise the importance of ensuring our products are correctly labelled and we are sorry that on this occasion we have failed to do this. We can reassure customers that both products have the same allergen declarations, and we have provided a statement to the Vegetarian Society.

As soon as we became aware of the issue, we launched an investigation and put in place a number of new production processes designed to prevent this happening again.

Our bakery in Leicester produces millions of pies annually and we are disappointed that on this occasion the product leaving our site was not to our usual quality standards.

If you’ve recently purchased one of our Potato, Cheese and Leek pies, check the use by date and batch code. Those with a use by date of 07 March 2019 and a batch code of 9055 may be affected, so please check before eating.
