We’re incredibly proud to be recognised by the Earl Shilton community as part of its rich history in the latest community project unveiled last weekend.
Working with Culture Leicestershire, the community has created a beautiful book-shaped sculpture/mosaic now on display outside Earl Shilton Library. Bespoke made by local stone mason’s G Seller, surrounded by plants from Earl Shilton in Bloom, and brought to life by mosaic artist Llynda Baugh, the piece welcomes and celebrates the people, places and stories that matter most to the community — with every detail chosen by those who call Earl Shilton home.
Earl Shilton is where Trevor & Valerie Storer baked the very first Pukka Pie back in 1963, so to be included in such a meaningful local project really means a lot to us. While we’ve grown over the years, our roots remain firmly in Leicestershire, and we’re proud to continue playing a role in this community’s past, present and future.
