Gender Pay Gap Reporting April 2019

This is Pukka Pies second Gender Pay Gap report, prepared as required under the Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2017 that came into effect April 2017.

This involves carrying out six calculations that show the difference between the average earnings of men and women; it does not include publishing individual employees data.

We are required to publish the results on our own website and a government website.

We can use these results to assess:

  • The levels of gender equality in our workplace
  • The balance of male and female employees at different levels
  • How effectively talent is being maximised and rewarded.

We have seen an improvement of 8% in our Mean Gender Pay gap from the previous year coming in at 0.19%.

Additionally we have also seen an improvement in both our Mean bonus pay of 7.7% and an increase in the overall number of people receiving a bonus.

We continue to work to minimise any gender pay gap.
