The England Band

Pukka Pies are committed to helping sports athletes in a fun and imaginative manner. For the past four years we have been the official sponsors of the Pukka Pies England Band.

In 2008 we sent the band to the Beijing Olympics where they were a fantastic success playing in front of thousands of Chinese supporters. The band generated a great atmosphere, bringing good morale and humour and a little bit of Britain whilst they were playing. One celebrity member of the band is Bernie Clifton who occasionally brings his famous yellow ostrich to perform as well!

The band follow every football England football international fixture across the globe and at present are preparing for the World Cup finals in South Africa. They will be flying out for the full duration of the four week event and you can follow their fortunes at the World Cup on the great new Pukka Pie YouTube channel.

Snooker Championship Pukka Pies Sponsorship

UK Snooker Championships

In December 2009 Pukka Pies were proud to sponsor the World Snooker Championships in Telford. The popular tournament was televised live on the BBC, receiving 57 hours of coverage, bringing the world of snooker into the public eye once again and highlighting the return of one of the nation's favourite sports.

The sponsorship attracted a worldwide television audience of hundreds of millions, from England to China.

Chinese sensation Ding Junhui won the £100,000 1st prize as well as his body weight in pies. Ding donated the 276 pies to a voluntary homeless organisation in Sheffield as a festive treat.
